Walking Your Faith

Walking Your Faith Devotionally Eph 6:7 "with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men," NKJV Loved Ones in Christ, Friends, have you ever had to struggle to sit down to simply watch the news, a sitcom, or a movie on TV? Probably not. But often it???s difficult to accomplish those things that the Lord has called us to do. Spending time in the word of God, being in fellowship at church with other believers, giving faithfully, and serving in ministry regularly is a task that???s tested by our fallen nature, fallen world, and the spiritual enemy of our souls: Satan. Before man fell we lived as spirit, soul, and body. After man fell the order was changed to body, soul, and spirit by our sinful nature (see 1 Thess 5:23). Of course Jesus came to restore that order when we are born again into His kingdom. Eph 6:10 "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." NKJV Let me encourage you to press on for your eternal investments in the Lord. You get out of life what you put into life. You get out of the marriage what you put into the marriage. You get out of work what you put into work. You get out of friendship what you put into friendship. You get out of church what you put into church. Some people expect to see results in life before they put in the work, ???if you give me some heat I???ll add some wood to the fire.??? Yet it is different with Jesus since we always get more from Him then we could ever give. That???s the beauty of the Gospel friends, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. He took the time to give His life for us, let us redeem the time by taking a stand against our flesh, the world, and the devil and allow the Lord to pour back on us more than we could ever ask imagine or think for His Glory in our lives. Walking your faith? We need to press on for what is right. Shalom! ABBA, Father God, Please forgive me when I fall into the flesh and don???t prioritize You and stand for You and Your promises in my life. Please empower me in Your strength to do Your will and continue to stand and press on for what is right in Your eyes. In Jesus' precious name and for Your Glory. Amen.
